Never-Ending Cycles
When life beings to be comfortable
You become lazy and then you get dull
There's nothing interesting about yourself
You desperately need to seek some help
What do you hope to accomplish
What's the one thing you secretly wish for
If money was never even an issue
What exactly would you do?
Why not try to get that done
Hey it could possibly be fun
May this be a challenge to you
To not let my words become true
Do not let your parents be right
That you never put up a fight
That you always seem to fall
You never reach your full potential
So I challenge you
I challenge you to apply yourself
I challenge you to better yourself
I challenge you to not fall into
A never-ending cycle
I know that you are not so sure
You've tried to do some things before
You start new things just like a fad
But you stop and that's kind of sad
You're interest just isn't in it
You're enthusiam has diminished
You think to yourself why even bother
I still have time and a future
But that bright future as big as the sky
Will pretty soon pass you right by
You start to wonder what exactly happened
I'll tell you what, you lacked the discipline
Things don't happen right away
No matter what you have to say
You have to constantly be doing it
Consistently be pursuing it
So I challenge you
I challenge you to be disciplined
I challenge you don't let doubt creep in
I challenge you to not fall into
A never-ending cycle
When you try to be healthy
You cannot fall into apathy
You have to get into a rhythm
Exercise to clean your system
Instead of growing or getting fatter
You know you are going to feel much better
Because you exercise day by day
To make sure the junk will go away
And that should be your very aim
Because life is exactly the same
Do not delay, do not procrastinate
Because there's no way to over-compensate
Everyone knows laziness is a sin
We have to let the healing begin
Do not corrupt your very soul
Only then can you be whole
So I challenge you
I challenge you to keep it up
I challenge you lift up your spirits
I challenge you to then fall into
A never-ending cycle
You become lazy and then you get dull
There's nothing interesting about yourself
You desperately need to seek some help
