Renewing the Covenant

Inspired by Exodus chapters 32-34 Oftentimes we can get impatient  Leading us to be complacent  Looking for God’s replacement  Enthralled into sin’s engagement  Making God burn with anger Threatening to bring disaster  As sin spreads just like cancer While we’re ignorant of the danger  Desperately needing intervention  Begging God for restoration  Hoping for some intercession  We really need His salvation  It is His presence that sets us apart  Refining our minds and our hearts He has loved us from the start A glorious, beautiful work of art So let us renew our covenant   Everyone come into agreement  That God alone will be prominent  And His Grace will be sufficient 

The Tabernacle

Inspired by Exodus chapters 25-31 God told Moses to build a sanctuary  As the tabernacle was formless and empty  The people were to provide sacred donations  For God Himself to live amongst them Then God said to make an ark Overlay it in gold did He impart With two cherubim on the cover So between them He would hover  Then God instructed Moses to make a table Showing how He would provide our essentials   Along with special containers to be made And the Bread must be continually displayed Then God said to symbolize His light  Portraying the Trinity with a lampstand in sight  Made from gold following His directions  With seven lamps to represent perfection    To exemplify His Presence so magical God said to make Him a tabernacle Our sins would be placed upon an altar To be forgiven and eventually conquered To light the lamps oil is necessary And the fire had to burn continually Just as His Presence is always around Our hearts and His ...

From a slave of Christ Jesus To God's people so zealous May you be full of His grace And of His peacefulness I am grateful for you my dear partners As we confirm the truth in His special favor He who began the good work within you Until Christ returns, will His work continue We must live as citizens of heaven United in spirit with faith as a weapon Not intimidated by our enemies But assured by serving in HIs embassy Let us agree wholeheartedly with each other  Loving one another and working together  With one mind and one purpose  Each of us burning hot as God’s furnace  We should do everything without complaining  So to us no one can be criticizing   Living as children of God so innocent  Shining brightly and so magnificent Don't think religious devotion as priceless Compared to Christ it is worthless Infinite value is knowing Him as Lord Everything else should be discarded Jesus submitted to God in obedience  Then elevated to the highest place A...
