The LORD's Chosen Servant
Inspired by Isaiah 42:1-10 The Creator of the heavens who stretched them afar Created the earth and its dwellers Gave breath to everyone so they can live Has called us into righteousness He will take us all by the hand Keeping His promise as He planned Being a light unto the nations Giving sight to those with no vision Freeing the captives from their prisons Releasing those in dark dungeons Gave us His servant whom He strengthened A pleasing servant whom He chosen He has put His Spirit upon Him Bringing justice to the nations He will not shout nor raise His voice So let all His people then rejoice! The hope of the world has appeared Helping us all to persevere Freeing us from what was feared Showing us love so sincere Sing a new song to the Lord His blood for us He has pored The wages of sin He has cured Unity with Him He has restored
