The LORD's Chosen Servant

Inspired by Isaiah 42:1-10

The Creator of the heavens who stretched them afar
Created the earth and its dwellers
Gave breath to everyone so they can live
Has called us into righteousness
 
He will take us all by the hand
Keeping His promise as He planned
Being a light unto the nations
Giving sight to those with no vision
 
Freeing the captives from their prisons
Releasing those in dark dungeons
Gave us His servant whom He strengthened
A pleasing servant whom He chosen
 
He has put His Spirit upon Him
Bringing justice to the nations
He will not shout nor raise His voice
So let all His people then rejoice!
 
The hope of the world has appeared
Helping us all to persevere
Freeing us from what was feared
Showing us love so sincere
 
Sing a new song to the Lord
His blood for us He has pored
The wages of sin He has cured
Unity with Him He has restored

The Purification Water

Inspired by Numbers chapter 19 & Matthew Henry’s  Commentary “COME AND BRING OUT A RED HEIFER  A PERFECT ANIMAL WITHOUT DEFECT THE SINS OF THE PEOPLE IT SHALL ACQUIRE  BURN IT TO ASHES FOR FULL EFFECT  “THE SUFFERING THROUGH FIRE IS A SACRIFICE TO SATISFY MY JUSTICE FOR DISOBEDIENCE  THIS IS THE ULTIMATE COST AND PRICE  BETWEEN OURSELVES TO INTERMEDIATE  “THE BUTCHER AND INFLAMER WILL BE UNCLEAN AS WELL AS THE ONE WHO PICKS UP THE ASHES  SO THEY MUST WASH THEMSELVES PRISTINE  SO THE PEOPLE ARE NO LONGER FRACTIOUS  “A CONSEQUENCE OF SIN IS DEATH SO TOUCHING A CORPSE IS DEFILING  THE LAW CANNOT BRING BACK YOUR HEALTH  SO NEW LIFE AND HOPE I WAS COMPILING  “MIX THE ASHES WITH FRESH WATER THIS MIXTURE IS YOUR PURIFICATION  THIS WILL ATONE FOR SIN’S SLAUGHTER  A SYMBOL OF OUR SACRED RELATION”

More Than Conquerers
