    May Your word be my delight Meditating day and night May my soul it then excite Because Your word is my delight   May You shine oh so bright Bringing tears at the sight Your purity that is so white Because Your word is my delight   May You bless me with Your might As a warrior, Your knight May Your enemies I smite Enhanced by Your word, my delight   May these words that I write Give You glory in my life Making my heart so contrite Reflecting Your word my soul’s delight

I wake up in the morning Ready to start the day Yet, I feel my soul is yearning For something to make me say I want to know Deep in my soul That You are God This restlessness keeps stirring And I am overwhelmed I constantly keep searching But my soul will not be stilled I want to know Deep in my soul That You are God I go to church and pray Read the Bible everyday Sing my hymns and songs But this restlessness goes on I talk to my pastor Conversate with my friends But the questions always linger The restlessness doesn't end I need to know Deep in my soul That You are God I shout it on a mountaintop "Show Yourself to me! Oh no, here we go again  I am ashamed to call you my friend Why did you mess up just like that? There is no way to ever go back How can you be so very foolish?
