Undeserved Love
Lord I failed you again today Sin came to me and had its way Lord I feel so very dirty I’m in need of your great mercy Remove this sinful flesh from me So I can worship You more freely And yet You sent your Son to die For such a sinful one as I He gave up his life on the cross To set me free You paid the cost Then You sent your Holy Spirit Because your love has no limit Your holy love is undeserved My worthless life has been preserved By His blood we are justified God’s wrath has now been satisfied Once enemies now reconciled Through Christ, our Lord, we are God’s child Rejoice oh you sons and daughters Death’s grip on us has been conquered Though undeserved God’s love is great Eternity is now our fate My sinful stains are now wiped clean I’ve been made new I am redeemed
