The Only Savior

Inspired by Isaiah 42:18 to 43:13

Who is as blind as my servants?
Who is as deaf as my messengers?
Who is as blind as My commissioned?
Those whom the Lord chosen as helpers
 
You see and recognize what is right
But pay no attention and ignore it
You listen with your ears shut tight
So what was heard now has no merit
 
          It pleased the Lord for the sake of His righteousness
          To make His law great and become glorious
 
But His people were robbed and also plundered
Enslaved, imprisoned, and trapped in pits
Their precious lives were not secured
Advocated for to be acquitted
 
Who will learn from these past lessons?
Or pay attention to future ruin
Who allowed them to be broken?
It was the Lord whom we have forsaken
 
          Therefore the Lord poured out anger
          The fury of warfare they shall encounter 
 
The people were then enveloped in flames
But they still refused to understand
From the fire were His people maimed
But they continued to be confounded
 
But listen to what the Lord declares
He who conceived of creation
Has called us by name, we are His heirs
Don’t be afraid. We have redemption
 
          “I’M THE LORD YOUR SAVIOR, THE HOLY ONE OF ISRAEL
          I AM THE LORD RECOGNIZING YOU ARE BEAUTIFUL
 
“IN EXCHANGE FOR YOUR LIFE I GAVE UP NATIONS
I’D SELL THE WHOLE WORLD TO SET YOU FREE
I PAID A HUGE PRICE FOR YOUR RANSOM
THAT IS HOW MUCH YOU MEAN TO ME
 
“DON’T BE AFRAID, FOR I AM WITH YOU
GATHERING YOU FROM EAST AND WEST
FROM NORTH AND SOUTH MY KIN I PURSUE
BRING BACK MY PEOPLE WHOM I HAVE BLESSED
 
“LEAD OUT THOSE WHO HAVE EYES BUT ARE SO BLIND
THOSE WHO HAVE EARS BUT ARE IMPAIRED
GATHER ALL THE PEOPLE OF MANKIND
AND LET THEM EXPLAIN WHAT HAS TRANSPIRED
 
“MY SERVANTS ARE MY WITNESSES
CHOSEN TO KNOW AND BELIEVE IN ME
UNDERSTAND MY DEITY IS EXCLUSIVE
THERE NEVER HAS BEEN AND THERE NEVER WILL BE
 
          “YES, I AM THE LORD YOU HAVE MY FAVOR
           I AM THE LORD AND THERE IS NO OTHER 
 
          “I ALONE AM GOD EXISTING FROM ETERNITY
          I ALONE AM GOD AND YOU BECOME  SO PRECIOUS TO ME”

Inspired by Numbers chapter 19 & Matthew Henry’s  Commentary “COME AND BRING OUT A RED HEIFER  A PERFECT ANIMAL WITHOUT DEFECT THE SINS OF THE PEOPLE IT SHALL ACQUIRE  BURN IT TO ASHES FOR FULL EFFECT  “THE SUFFERING THROUGH FIRE IS A SACRIFICE TO SATISFY MY JUSTICE FOR DISOBEDIENCE  THIS IS THE ULTIMATE COST AND PRICE  BETWEEN OURSELVES TO INTERMEDIATE  “THE BUTCHER AND INFLAMER WILL BE UNCLEAN AS WELL AS THE ONE WHO PICKS UP THE ASHES  SO THEY MUST WASH THEMSELVES PRISTINE  SO THE PEOPLE ARE NO LONGER FRACTIOUS  “A CONSEQUENCE OF SIN IS DEATH SO TOUCHING A CORPSE IS DEFILING  THE LAW CANNOT BRING BACK YOUR HEALTH  SO NEW LIFE AND HOPE I WAS COMPILING  “MIX THE ASHES WITH FRESH WATER THIS MIXTURE IS YOUR PURIFICATION  THIS WILL ATONE FOR SIN’S SLAUGHTER  A SYMBOL OF OUR SACRED RELATION”

More Than Conquerers
