Remind the Next Generation

Inspired by Numbers chapter 28-30

Remind the next generation of why we give offerings 

Giving the Lord a special donation 

Requesting our Healer to ease our sufferings 

And onto Him our full devotion 

Remind them about the pleasing aroma 

Producing to God a sweet fragrance 

Representing a perfume-like persona 

A symbol of our obedience 

Remind them of the Sabbath and to find our rest

To do good works and then take a break

Our mistakes and errors to then confess 

So to holiness we can partake 

Remind them of the Passover

How not to be inconsiderate 

To not put ourselves in divine foreclosure 

Defaulting on His Grace estate 

Do not forget the festivals 

The grand times of rejoicing 

The encouraging cheerful spectacles 

Of people in holy gatherings 

Remind them to take their vows seriously 

To not make devout promises hastily 

As they must be completed precariously 

As breaking it can damage your credibility 

Remind them why we praise the Lord

And why unto Him He is adored 

Remind them why He is our great reward 

And why the bond must be restored
