The Broken Herdsmen & Flock

Inspired by Zechariah 11:4-17

This is what the Lord my God says

"CARE FOR THE FLOCK 

     INTENDED FOR SLAUGHTER

WHO WERE WILLINGLY SOLD 

     TO BE BUTCHERED

FOR I WILL NO LONGER 

     HAVE PITY ON THIS COUNTRY

IT'LL TURN INTO A WASTELAND 

     WITH NO HELP FROM ME"

So the flock that was oppressed was taken care of

Using staffs Favor and Union to show them love

Getting rid of three herdsmen in a single month

But the shepherd and flock had to confront

If they die they will die, if killed they are killed

The covenant between them would go unfulfilled

Payment was made, thirty pieces of silver

Taking the payment and thrown to the potter

"SEE THE HERDSMEN WHO DO NOT CARE

WHO LEAVE THE FLOCK IN CONSTANT DESPAIR

OF THEIR TERRIBLE FATE TRY NOT TO SHARE

CAUSE THE RELATIONSHIP CAN BE REPAIRED"
