Zechariah 9

A message came against the enemies of the Lord
“BEWARE THE COMING OF MY SWORD 
YOU ABUNDANT WITH SILVER AND GOLD
FOR THE CITY OF MY PEOPLE WILL BE RESTORED 

“BE FILLED WITH FEAR AND THEN TREMBLE 
WHO UPON MY PEOPLE HAVE BEEN UNGENTLE
THE HOLY CITY WILL BE REASSEMBLED 
AND I WILL COME AND GUARD MY TEMPLE”

Then the Lord declared to come rejoice!
The coming King has been deployed 
He may come from a Trinity 
But still humble riding on a donkey 

His realm will stretch from sea to sea
As He brings peace to every country 
He’ll repay two blessings for each trouble 
As defeated enemies fall and stumble 

For the Living God will protect His people 
Rescuing and enacting His great retrieval 
They will once again drink new wine 
For His covenant will be enshrined

The Purification Water

Inspired by Numbers chapter 19 & Matthew Henry’s  Commentary “COME AND BRING OUT A RED HEIFER  A PERFECT ANIMAL WITHOUT DEFECT THE SINS OF THE PEOPLE IT SHALL ACQUIRE  BURN IT TO ASHES FOR FULL EFFECT  “THE SUFFERING THROUGH FIRE IS A SACRIFICE TO SATISFY MY JUSTICE FOR DISOBEDIENCE  THIS IS THE ULTIMATE COST AND PRICE  BETWEEN OURSELVES TO INTERMEDIATE  “THE BUTCHER AND INFLAMER WILL BE UNCLEAN AS WELL AS THE ONE WHO PICKS UP THE ASHES  SO THEY MUST WASH THEMSELVES PRISTINE  SO THE PEOPLE ARE NO LONGER FRACTIOUS  “A CONSEQUENCE OF SIN IS DEATH SO TOUCHING A CORPSE IS DEFILING  THE LAW CANNOT BRING BACK YOUR HEALTH  SO NEW LIFE AND HOPE I WAS COMPILING  “MIX THE ASHES WITH FRESH WATER THIS MIXTURE IS YOUR PURIFICATION  THIS WILL ATONE FOR SIN’S SLAUGHTER  A SYMBOL OF OUR SACRED RELATION”

More Than Conquerers
