Complaining to God

Inspired by Numbers chapters 11 & 12

How soon we can forget
About His holy provision and grace
As hardships make us upset
Causing us fatal mistakes

We can crave the finer things
Of fancy stuff and luxuries
But we should yearn for higher things
And savor His discoveries

Remember when He provided manna
And fed the poor and hungry
We should praise and cry “Hosanna!”
And bow before Him humbly

He saved us from our captivity
Yet we complain about our misery
That the load we bear is heavy
And we’re better off if buried

Then the Lord says “GATHER ME SEVENTY
THEY MUST HAVE A STRONG IDENTITY
THEY MUST LOVE OTHERS SINCERELY
I’LL BESTOW THEM MY SPIRIT FREELY”

Always remember humility
Free from pride’s liability
God speaks through dreams and visions
Not through arrogant religions

Do not let yourself get jealous
For we can become rebellious
Get comfortable with disrespect
And with each other we disconnect

Don’t get separated from His presence
Or we’re surrounded by evil’s essence
His great deterrent and mercy hindrance
Preventing us from love’s adherence
