Leaving Sinai

Inspired by Matthew Henry’s commentary on Numbers 10:11-36

Leaving the mountain in holy devotion 
Starts with knowing His constitution 
Reducing oneself to a lower position 
And moving towards sacred perfection 
Will you give yourself to God’s direction 
And listen to His stable instructions 
Having no fear of any course corrections 
Until we reach the final destination 

Won’t you share this great rejoicing 
The amazing love that God is voicing 
Of fellowship that makes life worth living 
Come and receive what God’s supplying 
Invite cherished ones to this gathering
With living water is He baptizing 
It is time for the great scattering 
As enemies are defeated and He is rising

The Purification Water

Inspired by Numbers chapter 19 & Matthew Henry’s  Commentary “COME AND BRING OUT A RED HEIFER  A PERFECT ANIMAL WITHOUT DEFECT THE SINS OF THE PEOPLE IT SHALL ACQUIRE  BURN IT TO ASHES FOR FULL EFFECT  “THE SUFFERING THROUGH FIRE IS A SACRIFICE TO SATISFY MY JUSTICE FOR DISOBEDIENCE  THIS IS THE ULTIMATE COST AND PRICE  BETWEEN OURSELVES TO INTERMEDIATE  “THE BUTCHER AND INFLAMER WILL BE UNCLEAN AS WELL AS THE ONE WHO PICKS UP THE ASHES  SO THEY MUST WASH THEMSELVES PRISTINE  SO THE PEOPLE ARE NO LONGER FRACTIOUS  “A CONSEQUENCE OF SIN IS DEATH SO TOUCHING A CORPSE IS DEFILING  THE LAW CANNOT BRING BACK YOUR HEALTH  SO NEW LIFE AND HOPE I WAS COMPILING  “MIX THE ASHES WITH FRESH WATER THIS MIXTURE IS YOUR PURIFICATION  THIS WILL ATONE FOR SIN’S SLAUGHTER  A SYMBOL OF OUR SACRED RELATION”

More Than Conquerers
