Warnings Against Sin

From Isaiah 59

Our immorality cut us from HIM 
HE stopped listening because of our sins
Our hands became the hands of murderers 
Dirty and stained with blood-soaked fingers 
Our lips speak nothing but deception 
Our mouths always spews out corruption 

No one cares to be fair and honest 
Suing each other based on pretense 
Planning out catastrophic schemes 
Giving birth to miserable deeds
Hatching out poisonous snakes
Tangled into webs that spiders make 
The spider's web is very destructive 
These sinners aren't trustworthy and aren't productive 

Their hearts became all too dark 
Loving violence as their trademark 
They don't know how to live in peace 
Or know when oppression should cease 
So now there is no more justice 
No right living is amongst us 

The LORD's arm is not weak to save 
Nor is HE deaf and HE will help us behave 
Stepping in to save with HIS strong arm 
Fighting those who always mean harm 
Repaying back those with their evil deeds
Paying them back for all their greed

The Purification Water

Inspired by Numbers chapter 19 & Matthew Henry’s  Commentary “COME AND BRING OUT A RED HEIFER  A PERFECT ANIMAL WITHOUT DEFECT THE SINS OF THE PEOPLE IT SHALL ACQUIRE  BURN IT TO ASHES FOR FULL EFFECT  “THE SUFFERING THROUGH FIRE IS A SACRIFICE TO SATISFY MY JUSTICE FOR DISOBEDIENCE  THIS IS THE ULTIMATE COST AND PRICE  BETWEEN OURSELVES TO INTERMEDIATE  “THE BUTCHER AND INFLAMER WILL BE UNCLEAN AS WELL AS THE ONE WHO PICKS UP THE ASHES  SO THEY MUST WASH THEMSELVES PRISTINE  SO THE PEOPLE ARE NO LONGER FRACTIOUS  “A CONSEQUENCE OF SIN IS DEATH SO TOUCHING A CORPSE IS DEFILING  THE LAW CANNOT BRING BACK YOUR HEALTH  SO NEW LIFE AND HOPE I WAS COMPILING  “MIX THE ASHES WITH FRESH WATER THIS MIXTURE IS YOUR PURIFICATION  THIS WILL ATONE FOR SIN’S SLAUGHTER  A SYMBOL OF OUR SACRED RELATION”

More Than Conquerers
