Paul's Message of Wisdom

When I came to you, dear brothers and sisters
I didn't tell you God's secret plan through whispers
I would forget everything except the cross
Impressive wisdom was considered lost

My message was weakness, timid and trembling
Clever-persuasive speeches disassembling
I relied only on the Holy Spirit
Trusting the Power of God as the ticket

Yet when I am with mature believers
Those who are Mystery of God receivers
The Spirit telling us God's deep secrets
Learning about His pure uniqueness

Our own spirits knows our thoughts
Only the Spirit knows what God wants
And this Spirit was given to us
So God's wonderful things we can trust

The Spirit's words explain spiritual truths
But the unspiritual only see foolish excuses 
Who knows God's thoughts and possibly teach Him?
Having the Mind of Christ is how we reach Him

The Purification Water

Inspired by Numbers chapter 19 & Matthew Henry’s  Commentary “COME AND BRING OUT A RED HEIFER  A PERFECT ANIMAL WITHOUT DEFECT THE SINS OF THE PEOPLE IT SHALL ACQUIRE  BURN IT TO ASHES FOR FULL EFFECT  “THE SUFFERING THROUGH FIRE IS A SACRIFICE TO SATISFY MY JUSTICE FOR DISOBEDIENCE  THIS IS THE ULTIMATE COST AND PRICE  BETWEEN OURSELVES TO INTERMEDIATE  “THE BUTCHER AND INFLAMER WILL BE UNCLEAN AS WELL AS THE ONE WHO PICKS UP THE ASHES  SO THEY MUST WASH THEMSELVES PRISTINE  SO THE PEOPLE ARE NO LONGER FRACTIOUS  “A CONSEQUENCE OF SIN IS DEATH SO TOUCHING A CORPSE IS DEFILING  THE LAW CANNOT BRING BACK YOUR HEALTH  SO NEW LIFE AND HOPE I WAS COMPILING  “MIX THE ASHES WITH FRESH WATER THIS MIXTURE IS YOUR PURIFICATION  THIS WILL ATONE FOR SIN’S SLAUGHTER  A SYMBOL OF OUR SACRED RELATION”

More Than Conquerers

Inspired by Matthew Henry's  commentary  on Numbers chapter 21 Before our march to the Promised Land We may find ourselves in enemy's hands But let us look thoroughly to the Lord Our only way to keep moving forward So instead of Arad, we have Hormah As the enemy's sins are enormous God will bring about their destruction His love for His children brings protection But as we continue on our journey We can be impatient and be in a hurry Then complain about the Lord's provision Bringing about the Lord's derision The serpent comes back to bite at our heels Making our grievances his meal Our very lives does he greedily steal Making us look up so we can be healed Look up and see the serpent of bronze Do not fear death that corresponds The venom may stir up our sinful passions But only the Lord can bring salvation Do not forget and always remember When God blessed us with living water Our expectations should be tempered And only rely on His Grace and His Favor Wicked men tr...
