Spiritual Maturity

Why do we have carnal dealings 
    with each other and with God?
Why can't we discuss spiritual matters?
    Why do mature subjects have to be barred?
We can be like infants
    nursing at the breast
We think we are more capable
    but God is not impressed

We had to be fed with milk
    'cause we could not digest anything stronger
And we may not still be ready
    for we're controlled by our sinful nature
We go for what feels good or seemingly important.
    We go for what we want
We can act so very childish
    and with God be nonchalant

Some plant the seeds while some water the plants
    but it was God who made you grow
The one who plants or waters works together
    and together they'll receive their rewards
Together they are both God's workers; while we are
    God's fields or buildings where the work is shown

Like an expert builder, some lay the foundation
While others are building up the next generation
But Jesus remains the source of our salvation

Fire reveals whether the builder's work has value
    If the work survives than praise the builder!
But if the work burns up than what have you?
    Everything's torn down and we're barely survivors

We are all the Temple of God together
The Spirit of God will live in us forever
Whoever destroys this Temple God'll show His displeasure
Like the Temple, we have a holy endeavor

We have all been deceived
    Don't think of yourselves as worldly wise
For we are fools as God perceives
    The wisdom of this world is nonsense in God's Eyes

"HE traps the foolish in the snare of their own cleverness"
"The LORD knows people's thoughts, and that they're worthless"
    Do not boast about following a particular leader
    Whether it is Paul or Apollos or even Peter

Everything belongs to you
To Jesus be in pursuit
The Holy Spirit shall renew
And to the Father please stay true

The Purification Water

Inspired by Numbers chapter 19 & Matthew Henry’s  Commentary “COME AND BRING OUT A RED HEIFER  A PERFECT ANIMAL WITHOUT DEFECT THE SINS OF THE PEOPLE IT SHALL ACQUIRE  BURN IT TO ASHES FOR FULL EFFECT  “THE SUFFERING THROUGH FIRE IS A SACRIFICE TO SATISFY MY JUSTICE FOR DISOBEDIENCE  THIS IS THE ULTIMATE COST AND PRICE  BETWEEN OURSELVES TO INTERMEDIATE  “THE BUTCHER AND INFLAMER WILL BE UNCLEAN AS WELL AS THE ONE WHO PICKS UP THE ASHES  SO THEY MUST WASH THEMSELVES PRISTINE  SO THE PEOPLE ARE NO LONGER FRACTIOUS  “A CONSEQUENCE OF SIN IS DEATH SO TOUCHING A CORPSE IS DEFILING  THE LAW CANNOT BRING BACK YOUR HEALTH  SO NEW LIFE AND HOPE I WAS COMPILING  “MIX THE ASHES WITH FRESH WATER THIS MIXTURE IS YOUR PURIFICATION  THIS WILL ATONE FOR SIN’S SLAUGHTER  A SYMBOL OF OUR SACRED RELATION”

More Than Conquerers
