God's Righteous Instructions

Inspired by Exodus 20-23 and Matthew Henry's commentary

God gave us certain instructions
Reminding us how He saved us from subjection
Our responsibility to Him was His regulations
Forbidding any kind of superstition

Then He instructed us how to love each other
Honoring our fathers and our mothers
Like to ourselves should we love our neighbors
Forbidding any kind of wrongful desires

We were once in bondage to our depravity
Denying God of His legitimate glory
It is His law that protects our sanctity
Providing refuge for our regrets and legality

We should be ready to be benevolent
Have mercy on others and be compassionate
If harm was done then the culprit should compensate
Just as our honor God's grace does vindicate

May His instructions teach us to be morally upright
Regularly resting and depending on His might
Fighting against sin as His holy knights
Trusting that He will be our continual delight

Inspired by Numbers chapter 19 & Matthew Henry’s  Commentary “COME AND BRING OUT A RED HEIFER  A PERFECT ANIMAL WITHOUT DEFECT THE SINS OF THE PEOPLE IT SHALL ACQUIRE  BURN IT TO ASHES FOR FULL EFFECT  “THE SUFFERING THROUGH FIRE IS A SACRIFICE TO SATISFY MY JUSTICE FOR DISOBEDIENCE  THIS IS THE ULTIMATE COST AND PRICE  BETWEEN OURSELVES TO INTERMEDIATE  “THE BUTCHER AND INFLAMER WILL BE UNCLEAN AS WELL AS THE ONE WHO PICKS UP THE ASHES  SO THEY MUST WASH THEMSELVES PRISTINE  SO THE PEOPLE ARE NO LONGER FRACTIOUS  “A CONSEQUENCE OF SIN IS DEATH SO TOUCHING A CORPSE IS DEFILING  THE LAW CANNOT BRING BACK YOUR HEALTH  SO NEW LIFE AND HOPE I WAS COMPILING  “MIX THE ASHES WITH FRESH WATER THIS MIXTURE IS YOUR PURIFICATION  THIS WILL ATONE FOR SIN’S SLAUGHTER  A SYMBOL OF OUR SACRED RELATION”

More Than Conquerers
