Matthew 11

Jesus said

"What have you heard, and what have you seen?
God blesses those who don't turn away from me
Afflictions are healed, the dirty disinfected
People can hear clearly with lives resurrected

"What did you hope to see out in the wilderness?
Someone who can help you let go of bitterness?
Did you hope to find the secret to righteousness?
Something to help bring truth and divine justice?

"You came out there looking to see a prophet
Someone who can share what God deposits
Before me, he was sent out as a messenger
Ahead of my coming, the way he would prepare

"None was ever greater than John the Baptist
Who spoke against evil and to sin did resist
Yet the least in the Kingdom is greater than he is
And the Kingdom of Heaven is forcefully advancing

"To what can I compare this generation
People full of misinformation
You cannot stop what God has ordained
The One who created has the universe contained

"Come to me, all who are weary
Heavy loads and burdens do you carry
My burden is light and my yoke is easy
Rest for your soul I give to you freely"

Inspired by Numbers chapter 19 & Matthew Henry’s  Commentary “COME AND BRING OUT A RED HEIFER  A PERFECT ANIMAL WITHOUT DEFECT THE SINS OF THE PEOPLE IT SHALL ACQUIRE  BURN IT TO ASHES FOR FULL EFFECT  “THE SUFFERING THROUGH FIRE IS A SACRIFICE TO SATISFY MY JUSTICE FOR DISOBEDIENCE  THIS IS THE ULTIMATE COST AND PRICE  BETWEEN OURSELVES TO INTERMEDIATE  “THE BUTCHER AND INFLAMER WILL BE UNCLEAN AS WELL AS THE ONE WHO PICKS UP THE ASHES  SO THEY MUST WASH THEMSELVES PRISTINE  SO THE PEOPLE ARE NO LONGER FRACTIOUS  “A CONSEQUENCE OF SIN IS DEATH SO TOUCHING A CORPSE IS DEFILING  THE LAW CANNOT BRING BACK YOUR HEALTH  SO NEW LIFE AND HOPE I WAS COMPILING  “MIX THE ASHES WITH FRESH WATER THIS MIXTURE IS YOUR PURIFICATION  THIS WILL ATONE FOR SIN’S SLAUGHTER  A SYMBOL OF OUR SACRED RELATION”

More Than Conquerers
