Sheep Amongst Wolves

Jesus called out twelve of his followers
Giving them authority and imbued with power
To cast out evil spirits and heal people's illness
Saying Heaven is coming and know God in stillness

"Go and find all the lost sheep
Awake the dead who are asleep
Give as freely as you received
And as you work you won't want in need

"Be harmless as doves, but shrewd like snakes
Your demise people will try to partake
But you will not be the one who is speaking
It will be the Holy Spirit in you preaching

"People will hate you on account of my name
But endure and salvation can be claimed
Don't be afraid of those who threaten you
My acknowledgement will be your revenue

"If you love others more than you love me
Than as my disciple you are not worthy
Clinging to life than you are bound to it
But giving it up will you be found in it"

More Than Conquerers
