When Jesus Returns 2

Inspired by Matthew 25

The Kingdom of Heaven
Will be like ten bridesmaids who took their lamps
To meet the bridegroom.
Five were foolish, the others wise; all took a nap
Then the bridegroom came
And the bridesmaids all got prepared
The five wise ones had extra oil
But with the foolish ones could not be shared
The foolish ones went out
Coming back they cried, "Open the door for us!"
But they just heard "I don't know you."
Be ready! No one can foresee the return of Jesus

Again, the Kingdom of Heaven
Is like a man going on a long trip
To three servants fortunes he did equip
The servants invested the money as they saw fit
Two of them doubled up what they were enriched
The third one eventually got his asset stripped

To those who use well what they are given
          They will have an abundance
But to those who do nothing and don't listen
They will be seen as repugnant

When Jesus returns, He will sit upon his throne
Showing favor to those whom He has known
'Cause their grace, mercy, and love had been shown
To the least of us as if it was to Him alone
