A Noble Wife

Inspired by Proverbs 31:10-31

Who can find a capable wife? 
She is more precious than gemstones
Greatly enriching her husband's life
Being trusted with her own throne

She is very diligent and responsible
Constantly working and supplies great treasure
Others look up to her as remarkable
To her husband her worth has no measure

She extends a helping hand to the poor 
And opens her arms to the needy
People hold her up in grandeur
As she is clothed with dignity

When she speaks, her words are wise
She gives instructions with kindness
Carefully inspecting things with her eyes
And suffers nothing from mindlessness

She is someone worthy to obtain
So adore your wives and be amazed
Charm is deceitful, and beauty is vain
But a God-honoring woman is to be praised.

Inspired by Numbers chapter 19 & Matthew Henry’s  Commentary “COME AND BRING OUT A RED HEIFER  A PERFECT ANIMAL WITHOUT DEFECT THE SINS OF THE PEOPLE IT SHALL ACQUIRE  BURN IT TO ASHES FOR FULL EFFECT  “THE SUFFERING THROUGH FIRE IS A SACRIFICE TO SATISFY MY JUSTICE FOR DISOBEDIENCE  THIS IS THE ULTIMATE COST AND PRICE  BETWEEN OURSELVES TO INTERMEDIATE  “THE BUTCHER AND INFLAMER WILL BE UNCLEAN AS WELL AS THE ONE WHO PICKS UP THE ASHES  SO THEY MUST WASH THEMSELVES PRISTINE  SO THE PEOPLE ARE NO LONGER FRACTIOUS  “A CONSEQUENCE OF SIN IS DEATH SO TOUCHING A CORPSE IS DEFILING  THE LAW CANNOT BRING BACK YOUR HEALTH  SO NEW LIFE AND HOPE I WAS COMPILING  “MIX THE ASHES WITH FRESH WATER THIS MIXTURE IS YOUR PURIFICATION  THIS WILL ATONE FOR SIN’S SLAUGHTER  A SYMBOL OF OUR SACRED RELATION”

More Than Conquerers
