It will not be very long
The deaf will soon be able to hear
Like reading lyrics to a song
And the blind will then be made assure
That the darkness will be gone
Blind eyes will suddenly see clear
Broken ears will be made strong
Deafness will disappear
When to the scene Jesus comes along
A mute and deaf man was brought to him
As the people pleaded with Jesus to heal
So Jesus led the man away from the crowd
To be alone with him He could properly deal
And unto the only righteous judge
Jesus made his case and appealed
Then touching the man's ears and tongue
He caused the affliction to be repealed
Go back and testify to others
What you have seen and what you heard
Everyone who hurts and also suffers
All of their pain Jesus can cure
Deception He will then uncover
Condemnation has been deterred
His love for you can be discovered
So your liberation can be preserved
