A Prophet's Honor
God raised up a prophet like Moses
One who would be declared as chosen
Changing the curse of sin’s prognosis
He is God's grand magnum opus
When he returned back to his hometown
He amazed the crowd with teachings profound
But right after he would be cut down
As they got offended and became proud
They scoffed at him as a nobody
Perceiving things too emotionally
Rationalizing their distrust boastfully
Unable to see past their uncertainty
A prophet is not honored by their own family
As relatives can't see past their own vanity
They won't admit to their own depravity
Thinking they have greater morality
They can't be blessed due to unbelief
Staying in lament and stuck in grief
Staying as victims to the great thief
Not knowing who could bring relief
No need to cry all you mothers
Respect all our sisters and brothers
We can show love to each other
If His grace is discovered
He who adores our very souls
Wants us all to be made whole
It was death that he willingly chose
Yet from the grave did he arose
