Good of Others

Dear Friends, 

Flee from people who try to control
Assuming their own destiny of their soul
Not able to see what's happening beyond
Yet deciding that they know better than God

We are not just puzzle pieces
Trying to fit into life's thesis
Full of sickness and diseases
Our lifespans simply decreases

As one body we are united
Into Heaven are we invited
To worship Him so get excited
Salvation now has been enlightened

You say, "I'm allowed to do anything"
But not everything is good for you
You want to do what is favorable
But not everything should be pursued

Do not be concerned about your own needs
Instead look out for the good of others
Selflessness is how we succeed
Looking out for our sisters and brothers

Laying down all of our greed
Owning up to our misdeeds
This is how we should proceed
Letting God take every lead

Don't be concerned what people may say
That you should go a certain way
Don't worry about what is on display
As long as HIS Word you do obey

Be mindful not to offend anyone
But try to get along with everyone
Don't just do what is best for you
Unto others may you stay true

Can you give up desire for control?
Are you complete, or are you not whole?
Decide who knows what is for the best
Is it yourself, or the One who can bless?

More Than Conquerers
