The Resurrection Body
Some may ask, "How will the dead be raised?
"What kind of bodies will they have?"
Don't you know that question is crazed
But we can look to gardening in behalf
Just as a seed must die before the plant can grow
From the physical will our spiritual bodies show
Each kind of seed grows a different plant
Likewise there are distinct kinds of flesh as God grants
There are bodies in the heavens
and bodies on the earth
The sun, moon, and stars
have glories that are diverse
Resurrected bodies are first planted into the ground
But when we are raised eternal life is now found
Our bodies are buried in brokenness
But they will be raised in glory
They were first buried in weakness
But will then be raised in vitality
The first man, Adam, became a living person
But the last Adam is a life-giving Spirit
We start out physical that much is certain
But then become reborn without any limits
Physical bodies can't inherit the Kingdom of God
They won't live forever that is why it is too hard
But we will not all die, we will be transformed
Into immortal bodies will we be reformed
Death where is your victory; where is your sting?
Jesus has conquered you. Let His praises ring!
Let us be strong and immovable,
working very eagerly
Knowing that nothing we do is done ineffectively
