Facing Hardships

Please live in such a way
    That no one can find fault with your ministry
In everything we do
    Show that we're true soldiers in His infantry
Patiently enduring
    Troubles, hardships, and calamities of every kind
Having been beaten,
    Jailed, sleep deprived, starved, and confined

Prove yourselves
    By your purity, patience, and sincere love
Demonstrating
    Kindness and His power that comes from above
Serving Him
    Whether honored, despised, slandered, or praised
Fearing Him
    Working towards completeness of the holy crusade

Please be honest 
    Even if others call you imposters 
You will be ignored 
    Yet counted in His sacred rosters 
Living close to death 
    But continuing to stay alive 
Having been beaten 
    But by His Spirit will thrive 

Our hearts will ache
    But will have eternal joy
Monetarily poor
    But spiritually rich, anointed by oil
Emptying ourselves  
    Of possessions; owning nothing 
Gaining more
    Having salvation, obtaining everything 

So let us
    Cleanse ourselves from defilement 
Working towards
    Holiness as is our assignment 
Take great pride 
    And have the highest confidence 
Encouraging each other 
    Being happy in His providence

Inspired by Numbers chapter 19 & Matthew Henry’s  Commentary “COME AND BRING OUT A RED HEIFER  A PERFECT ANIMAL WITHOUT DEFECT THE SINS OF THE PEOPLE IT SHALL ACQUIRE  BURN IT TO ASHES FOR FULL EFFECT  “THE SUFFERING THROUGH FIRE IS A SACRIFICE TO SATISFY MY JUSTICE FOR DISOBEDIENCE  THIS IS THE ULTIMATE COST AND PRICE  BETWEEN OURSELVES TO INTERMEDIATE  “THE BUTCHER AND INFLAMER WILL BE UNCLEAN AS WELL AS THE ONE WHO PICKS UP THE ASHES  SO THEY MUST WASH THEMSELVES PRISTINE  SO THE PEOPLE ARE NO LONGER FRACTIOUS  “A CONSEQUENCE OF SIN IS DEATH SO TOUCHING A CORPSE IS DEFILING  THE LAW CANNOT BRING BACK YOUR HEALTH  SO NEW LIFE AND HOPE I WAS COMPILING  “MIX THE ASHES WITH FRESH WATER THIS MIXTURE IS YOUR PURIFICATION  THIS WILL ATONE FOR SIN’S SLAUGHTER  A SYMBOL OF OUR SACRED RELATION”

More Than Conquerers
