The Gift of Miracles

Miracles are wonderful events
Explained by supernatural means
Guidance from heaven will God present
And when carried out like spiritual vaccines
Any sickness or evil will we prevent
Between God and man do we intervene

We are to do things God's own way
Jesus only did what the Father was doing
So don't interject our own say
In the Spirit must we be hearing and seeing
Constantly on our knees and pray
Instructions from Him should we be expecting

Jesus healed, raised, freed, and provided
Then to His disciples He commissioned
To do the same. That to us was confided
To the lost are we to be beneficent
And make disciples were we guided
Believer or not have we been partitioned

Jesus said that whoever believes in Him
Will do great works and also grander
Not just special people but those with a whim
To receive God's initiative and then answer
Obeying the instruction no matter where or when
Speaking the words that come from our Master

Apart from Him we can do nothing
Everyone in His church has their role
On His word should we be clutching
We are to save the lost people's souls
Cold, dark hearts should we be adjusting
Restoring their lives and making them whole

Worldviews crumble when others marvel 
Displaying His sanctity onto the world
Ushering in a season of revival
Reverence with Him will be preserved
May others feel His love and then startle
As we meet their needs and continue to serve

He gives miracles of wisdom for personal direction
Like how to relate to our precious loved ones
As long as with Him we have intimate connection
To rebel against Him can our minds succumb
We are to display His manifestation
Recognizing ourselves as His daughters and sons

More Than Conquerers
