Heavenly Bodies

Let us 

Reject shameful deeds and devious methods
Instead tell the truth and share His lessons
The enemy has blinded the nonbelievers 
Due to the gospel’s light to non receivers 

As servants we don’t preach about ourselves 
The Creator of light in our hearts does dwell 
So we can know His glory seen in His face 
Death is no more and eternity is our fate

Wearing heavenly bodies like new clothing 
Because our present bodies are always groaning 
Our dying bodies will be, by life, swallowed up
With the Holy Spirit did God complete us

Now living by faith and not by sight
Shining with His holy, sacred light 
Onto others sharing encouragement 
Standing confidently before His judgment

Inspired by Numbers chapter 19 & Matthew Henry’s  Commentary “COME AND BRING OUT A RED HEIFER  A PERFECT ANIMAL WITHOUT DEFECT THE SINS OF THE PEOPLE IT SHALL ACQUIRE  BURN IT TO ASHES FOR FULL EFFECT  “THE SUFFERING THROUGH FIRE IS A SACRIFICE TO SATISFY MY JUSTICE FOR DISOBEDIENCE  THIS IS THE ULTIMATE COST AND PRICE  BETWEEN OURSELVES TO INTERMEDIATE  “THE BUTCHER AND INFLAMER WILL BE UNCLEAN AS WELL AS THE ONE WHO PICKS UP THE ASHES  SO THEY MUST WASH THEMSELVES PRISTINE  SO THE PEOPLE ARE NO LONGER FRACTIOUS  “A CONSEQUENCE OF SIN IS DEATH SO TOUCHING A CORPSE IS DEFILING  THE LAW CANNOT BRING BACK YOUR HEALTH  SO NEW LIFE AND HOPE I WAS COMPILING  “MIX THE ASHES WITH FRESH WATER THIS MIXTURE IS YOUR PURIFICATION  THIS WILL ATONE FOR SIN’S SLAUGHTER  A SYMBOL OF OUR SACRED RELATION”

More Than Conquerers
