Cleansing the High Priest

Inspired by Zechariah chapter 3

See the high priest standing before the Judge
The Accuser claims he committed wrongdoings
But the LORD's affection would not budge

"I, THE LORD, REJECT YOUR ACCUSATIONS
THIS PRIEST HAS MY APPRECIATION
I REBUKE ALL YOUR FABRICATIONS
FOR THE PRIEST BURNS WITH HOLY PASSION"

Unfortunately the priest wore filthy clothes
Yet his uncleanliness was removed
And then he was given royal robes

"PRIEST IF YOU CAREFULLY SERVE ME
THEN I WILL GRANT YOU AUTHORITY
BEHOLD THIS JEWEL OF DIVINE BRILLIANCY
AS I CLEANSE THE LAND OF ITS INIQUITY"

The Purification Water

Inspired by Numbers chapter 19 & Matthew Henry’s  Commentary “COME AND BRING OUT A RED HEIFER  A PERFECT ANIMAL WITHOUT DEFECT THE SINS OF THE PEOPLE IT SHALL ACQUIRE  BURN IT TO ASHES FOR FULL EFFECT  “THE SUFFERING THROUGH FIRE IS A SACRIFICE TO SATISFY MY JUSTICE FOR DISOBEDIENCE  THIS IS THE ULTIMATE COST AND PRICE  BETWEEN OURSELVES TO INTERMEDIATE  “THE BUTCHER AND INFLAMER WILL BE UNCLEAN AS WELL AS THE ONE WHO PICKS UP THE ASHES  SO THEY MUST WASH THEMSELVES PRISTINE  SO THE PEOPLE ARE NO LONGER FRACTIOUS  “A CONSEQUENCE OF SIN IS DEATH SO TOUCHING A CORPSE IS DEFILING  THE LAW CANNOT BRING BACK YOUR HEALTH  SO NEW LIFE AND HOPE I WAS COMPILING  “MIX THE ASHES WITH FRESH WATER THIS MIXTURE IS YOUR PURIFICATION  THIS WILL ATONE FOR SIN’S SLAUGHTER  A SYMBOL OF OUR SACRED RELATION”

More Than Conquerers
