Exiles Return Home

Inspired by Zechariah chapter 2

Come, measure how wide and how long
The City of God's People that had been wronged
It will be full of people one again
God Himself will be it's watchmen
His Presence will saturate the city
It will be a place known for His Glory!

The LORD says, "COME AWAY!
MY PEOPLE WHO WERE EXILED ASTRAY
FLEE FROM COUNTERFEITS TODAY
MY WRATH AGAINST THEM IS UNDERWAY

"I AM COMING TO LIVE AMONGST YOU
OTHER PEOPLE WILL LEARN TO TRUST YOU
THE LAND I'VE CHOSEN AS A HOLY NATION
WILL BE KNOWN AS MY SPECIAL POSSESSION
BE SILENT BEFORE THE LORD ALL HUMANITY
FOR I AM COMING TO PROTECT MY SANCTITY"

The Purification Water

Inspired by Numbers chapter 19 & Matthew Henry’s  Commentary “COME AND BRING OUT A RED HEIFER  A PERFECT ANIMAL WITHOUT DEFECT THE SINS OF THE PEOPLE IT SHALL ACQUIRE  BURN IT TO ASHES FOR FULL EFFECT  “THE SUFFERING THROUGH FIRE IS A SACRIFICE TO SATISFY MY JUSTICE FOR DISOBEDIENCE  THIS IS THE ULTIMATE COST AND PRICE  BETWEEN OURSELVES TO INTERMEDIATE  “THE BUTCHER AND INFLAMER WILL BE UNCLEAN AS WELL AS THE ONE WHO PICKS UP THE ASHES  SO THEY MUST WASH THEMSELVES PRISTINE  SO THE PEOPLE ARE NO LONGER FRACTIOUS  “A CONSEQUENCE OF SIN IS DEATH SO TOUCHING A CORPSE IS DEFILING  THE LAW CANNOT BRING BACK YOUR HEALTH  SO NEW LIFE AND HOPE I WAS COMPILING  “MIX THE ASHES WITH FRESH WATER THIS MIXTURE IS YOUR PURIFICATION  THIS WILL ATONE FOR SIN’S SLAUGHTER  A SYMBOL OF OUR SACRED RELATION”

More Than Conquerers
