A Branch of the Vine

Inspired by John 15 & Romans 1:21-25

The world will hate you 
If you follow the way
The world will negate you 
If you don’t believe what they say 

They enjoy the dark and confusion 
Claiming to be wise but are utter fools 
Unsatisfied and disillusioned 
Deciding it’s better to make up the rules 

Yet the world doesn’t choose us
God does to produce good fruit 
Doing whatever we ask through Jesus 
As long as we’re attached to the root 

He is the vine, we are the branches 
If we remain in him we are disciples
So do not wither and made into ashes 
Bear good fruit and bring forth revival 

Lets obey his commands and remain in his love
He told us these things to be filled with his joy
Lets cherish each other like he does from above 
Producing good work under his employ

The Purification Water

Inspired by Numbers chapter 19 & Matthew Henry’s  Commentary “COME AND BRING OUT A RED HEIFER  A PERFECT ANIMAL WITHOUT DEFECT THE SINS OF THE PEOPLE IT SHALL ACQUIRE  BURN IT TO ASHES FOR FULL EFFECT  “THE SUFFERING THROUGH FIRE IS A SACRIFICE TO SATISFY MY JUSTICE FOR DISOBEDIENCE  THIS IS THE ULTIMATE COST AND PRICE  BETWEEN OURSELVES TO INTERMEDIATE  “THE BUTCHER AND INFLAMER WILL BE UNCLEAN AS WELL AS THE ONE WHO PICKS UP THE ASHES  SO THEY MUST WASH THEMSELVES PRISTINE  SO THE PEOPLE ARE NO LONGER FRACTIOUS  “A CONSEQUENCE OF SIN IS DEATH SO TOUCHING A CORPSE IS DEFILING  THE LAW CANNOT BRING BACK YOUR HEALTH  SO NEW LIFE AND HOPE I WAS COMPILING  “MIX THE ASHES WITH FRESH WATER THIS MIXTURE IS YOUR PURIFICATION  THIS WILL ATONE FOR SIN’S SLAUGHTER  A SYMBOL OF OUR SACRED RELATION”

More Than Conquerers
