From Contamination to Purified

Inspired by John 13:1-17

To live is to become contaminated 
Infected by filthy viruses 
Therefore we must get vaccinated 
From he who performs miracles 

He stoops low to wash our feet 
His sovereignty he kept discreet 
Uncleanliness he will defeat 
To make our souls become complete 

Unto other’s feet we should wash
Being humble with our pride squashed
Since unbelief makes our hearts harsh
Don’t you want to be part of his entourage?

To be with him is to be sanctified 
Making our lives become justified 
From contamination to purified 
God’s holy wrath now satisfied 

Don’t keep this good news to yourself 
To the world may you be compelled 
Sharing how to obtain abundant wealth 
And to be able to have eternal health

Inspired by Numbers chapter 19 & Matthew Henry’s  Commentary “COME AND BRING OUT A RED HEIFER  A PERFECT ANIMAL WITHOUT DEFECT THE SINS OF THE PEOPLE IT SHALL ACQUIRE  BURN IT TO ASHES FOR FULL EFFECT  “THE SUFFERING THROUGH FIRE IS A SACRIFICE TO SATISFY MY JUSTICE FOR DISOBEDIENCE  THIS IS THE ULTIMATE COST AND PRICE  BETWEEN OURSELVES TO INTERMEDIATE  “THE BUTCHER AND INFLAMER WILL BE UNCLEAN AS WELL AS THE ONE WHO PICKS UP THE ASHES  SO THEY MUST WASH THEMSELVES PRISTINE  SO THE PEOPLE ARE NO LONGER FRACTIOUS  “A CONSEQUENCE OF SIN IS DEATH SO TOUCHING A CORPSE IS DEFILING  THE LAW CANNOT BRING BACK YOUR HEALTH  SO NEW LIFE AND HOPE I WAS COMPILING  “MIX THE ASHES WITH FRESH WATER THIS MIXTURE IS YOUR PURIFICATION  THIS WILL ATONE FOR SIN’S SLAUGHTER  A SYMBOL OF OUR SACRED RELATION”

More Than Conquerers
