See God’s Glory

Inspired by John 11:1-44

What do you believe?

That there is a final breath 
That we will lose our strength 
That there is a limit to health
That everything ends in death

But can death lead to glory 
Revealing something pure and holy
That all the stress and anxiety 
Can be the very things we bury

In darkness there is danger 
Wickedness of strangers 
But the light of the world 
     is a good and loving savior 

Humanity is in trouble deep
For we have fallen asleep 
From our graves we wail and weep 
Because it’s life we wish to keep 

Living doesn’t have to mean infection 
He said he is the life and resurrection 
As death can bring our redemption 
From the grave to heavenly ascension 

Cast the stone aside from the entrance 
Lay your burdens down in repentance 
As we declare our independence 
From physical limits to transcendence

The Purification Water

Inspired by Numbers chapter 19 & Matthew Henry’s  Commentary “COME AND BRING OUT A RED HEIFER  A PERFECT ANIMAL WITHOUT DEFECT THE SINS OF THE PEOPLE IT SHALL ACQUIRE  BURN IT TO ASHES FOR FULL EFFECT  “THE SUFFERING THROUGH FIRE IS A SACRIFICE TO SATISFY MY JUSTICE FOR DISOBEDIENCE  THIS IS THE ULTIMATE COST AND PRICE  BETWEEN OURSELVES TO INTERMEDIATE  “THE BUTCHER AND INFLAMER WILL BE UNCLEAN AS WELL AS THE ONE WHO PICKS UP THE ASHES  SO THEY MUST WASH THEMSELVES PRISTINE  SO THE PEOPLE ARE NO LONGER FRACTIOUS  “A CONSEQUENCE OF SIN IS DEATH SO TOUCHING A CORPSE IS DEFILING  THE LAW CANNOT BRING BACK YOUR HEALTH  SO NEW LIFE AND HOPE I WAS COMPILING  “MIX THE ASHES WITH FRESH WATER THIS MIXTURE IS YOUR PURIFICATION  THIS WILL ATONE FOR SIN’S SLAUGHTER  A SYMBOL OF OUR SACRED RELATION”

More Than Conquerers
