Inspired by John 19

Who do you declare as your king
Whose judgment do you concede to 
Does this lord have fair rulings 
And whose verdict can be appealed to 

What if someone was found not guilty 
Going against the choice of the city
Even if their hearts were all filthy 
Their spirits unwell and unhealthy 

When the judge sits on the judgment seat 
Is not their verdict final and complete?
Even if they want the accused released 
Mercy and compassion faced their defeat 

The king of the Jews must be neutralized 
Daring to offend religious leaders 
Destined to surrender and be crucified 
Saving the souls of his believers 


The divine plan has been finished 
The separation has been bridged
Evil’s power has been diminished 
Union with God now encouraged

Inspired by Numbers chapter 19 & Matthew Henry’s  Commentary “COME AND BRING OUT A RED HEIFER  A PERFECT ANIMAL WITHOUT DEFECT THE SINS OF THE PEOPLE IT SHALL ACQUIRE  BURN IT TO ASHES FOR FULL EFFECT  “THE SUFFERING THROUGH FIRE IS A SACRIFICE TO SATISFY MY JUSTICE FOR DISOBEDIENCE  THIS IS THE ULTIMATE COST AND PRICE  BETWEEN OURSELVES TO INTERMEDIATE  “THE BUTCHER AND INFLAMER WILL BE UNCLEAN AS WELL AS THE ONE WHO PICKS UP THE ASHES  SO THEY MUST WASH THEMSELVES PRISTINE  SO THE PEOPLE ARE NO LONGER FRACTIOUS  “A CONSEQUENCE OF SIN IS DEATH SO TOUCHING A CORPSE IS DEFILING  THE LAW CANNOT BRING BACK YOUR HEALTH  SO NEW LIFE AND HOPE I WAS COMPILING  “MIX THE ASHES WITH FRESH WATER THIS MIXTURE IS YOUR PURIFICATION  THIS WILL ATONE FOR SIN’S SLAUGHTER  A SYMBOL OF OUR SACRED RELATION”

More Than Conquerers
