Know the Voice

Inspired by John 10

Beware of thieves and robbers 
Who do not come through the front door 
But know the voice of honor 
Who leads you to good pastures 

A hired hand will run
     when confronted by grave danger 
But the good shepherd sacrifices his life 
     so the sheep prospers

He sacrifices his life to take it back again 
He does this voluntarily to save us all from sin

“My sheep know my voice and they follow me 
They sing songs and rejoice following jubilantly 

“I give them all eternal life 
     and they will never perish 
Seeing me through holy eyes 
     and know that they are cherished”

It is written that we are children 
     of the Sovereign Most High 
The good shepherd is the Son of God
     and through him will we abide

So let us all, by free choice, pledge our loyalty 
Choosing to know his voice and follow him joyfully

The Purification Water

Inspired by Numbers chapter 19 & Matthew Henry’s  Commentary “COME AND BRING OUT A RED HEIFER  A PERFECT ANIMAL WITHOUT DEFECT THE SINS OF THE PEOPLE IT SHALL ACQUIRE  BURN IT TO ASHES FOR FULL EFFECT  “THE SUFFERING THROUGH FIRE IS A SACRIFICE TO SATISFY MY JUSTICE FOR DISOBEDIENCE  THIS IS THE ULTIMATE COST AND PRICE  BETWEEN OURSELVES TO INTERMEDIATE  “THE BUTCHER AND INFLAMER WILL BE UNCLEAN AS WELL AS THE ONE WHO PICKS UP THE ASHES  SO THEY MUST WASH THEMSELVES PRISTINE  SO THE PEOPLE ARE NO LONGER FRACTIOUS  “A CONSEQUENCE OF SIN IS DEATH SO TOUCHING A CORPSE IS DEFILING  THE LAW CANNOT BRING BACK YOUR HEALTH  SO NEW LIFE AND HOPE I WAS COMPILING  “MIX THE ASHES WITH FRESH WATER THIS MIXTURE IS YOUR PURIFICATION  THIS WILL ATONE FOR SIN’S SLAUGHTER  A SYMBOL OF OUR SACRED RELATION”

More Than Conquerers
